About this project
Summary of MnDOT work
- MnDOT is reconstructing Hwy 67, from just east of the intersection of Hwy 59 to 6th Street in Clarkfield. Replacement of storm sewer is included in the project.
- The project includes replacement of sidewalks and the addition of pedestrian ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards.
- Alongside the MnDOT project, BNSF Railway will be replacing track at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 67.
Detours
- Two detours are required for the MnDOT project. The detour of Hwy 59 began May 6 and will remain in place until May 28.
- Hwy 67 will close from Hwy 59 to 6th St. beginning May 28. Once the BNSF Railway project is completed and the Hwy 59/67 intersection reopens, the Hwy 67 detour will go into effect and will remain in place for the duration of the MnDOT project.
- The added BNSF Railway project requires a separate detour of the Hwy 67 and Hwy 59 intersection. The detour begins May 28 and will be in place through May 30, or when the project concludes.
